In a meeting between FKTU leadership and the Presidential Job Creation Committee, FKTU president Kim Ju-young criticized that the job creation committee seems to exclude labor from the committee's work or just limit to the decorative role in the committee, while expressing his doubts on if the committee regards the FKTU as a true partner.

FKTU chief said that the job creation committee should have practically ensured the participation of labor in the committee from the early preparation stage to work out the composition and tasks of the committee. However, little information regarding the committee's progress situation has been shared with the FKTU.

The job creation committee explained that once the committee becomes warming up to its mandated works, it will establish a regular channel to receive the feedback from the labor circle. It also added that when the experts committee or special committee is formed under the job creation committee, representatives of the labor circle including FKTU and KCTU will be invited to the meetings to deliver their opinions.

The job creation committee vice-chairman Lee Yong-sup said that even though he endeavors to make job creation policies which both labor and employers can support, as the conflict of interests between the parties becomes acute, it is anticipated that the policy formulation may face a lot of difficulties. Nevertheless, he promised that he would do his best to reflect the opinions and suggestions from the FKTU into the policies.
